At Greater Houston Orthodontics, every smile tells a story. Our before-and-after gallery shows how personalized orthodontic care creates real, lasting results: healthier bites, straighter teeth, and confident smiles built to last. The Kinds of Transformations We Treat

Severe crowding correction. When there is not enough room for all the teeth, they overlap and twist. We create space and bring everything into a smooth, even arch, often without removing permanent teeth, for a result that is easier to clean as well as straighter.

Overbite and overjet correction. A deep overbite, where the upper teeth cover the lower ones too far, and an overjet, where the upper front teeth protrude, are among the most common cases we treat. Correcting them improves both the look of the smile and how the teeth function together.

Open bite correction with braces and no surgery. In an open bite, the front teeth do not meet when the back teeth are closed. Many open bites can be corrected with braces alone, closing the bite for easier chewing and clearer speech without the need for surgery.

Diastema (gap) closure with braces. A diastema is a noticeable gap between teeth, most often the upper front teeth. Braces close the space evenly for a balanced, natural-looking smile.

Missing laterals. Some patients are born without their upper lateral incisors, the teeth just beside the two front teeth. We manage the spacing carefully, coordinating with restorative dentistry when needed, so the final smile looks complete and natural.

Underbite correction with braces and surgery. When the lower jaw sits well forward of the upper, the most stable, lasting correction can combine braces with surgical orthodontics, coordinated with an oral surgeon, for a balanced bite and profile.

Orthodontic surgery with braces. For significant skeletal discrepancies, a coordinated plan of pre-surgical braces, jaw surgery, and finishing orthodontics delivers results that braces alone cannot, improving function and facial balance together.

Airway orthodontics with braces and surgery. Some of our most rewarding cases address airway and breathing alongside alignment, guiding the jaws to support a healthier airway as well as a straighter smile.

Real Patients, Real Results

These transformations are not just clinical successes, they change how patients feel. One local parent shared that her son had an open bite and crooked teeth and wore braces with rubber bands for about four years, adding that “the end result was worth it.” That is the experience we work toward for every patient: a result worth the journey, achieved with expert, attentive care.

Every smile is different, and your plan will be built specifically for you. The best way to understand what is possible for your smile is a complimentary consultation.

Why Results Like These Are Possible

Transformations like these do not happen by accident. They come from accurate diagnosis, careful planning with digital imaging, and the experience of three board-certified orthodontists who treat the full range of cases, from simple alignment to combined orthodontic and surgical care. The right diagnosis at the start is what makes a beautiful, stable result possible at the end. It is also why we never rush the planning stage: the time we invest up front is what shows up in the after photo.
